Years ago, I began blogging and recording the events that occurred in our lives while caring for our son Sam, who was diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia in 2008, at the tender age of 8. From extraordinary acts of kindness to brokenness beyond recognition, I wanted to record and share it all. All throughout our story, Sam’s story – Christ’s fingerprints are everywhere.
Sam passed away shortly after his 18th birthday in 2018. I always told him he had a healing to look forward to – and it came.
So even in death, there is life. And just like fruit on a vine, branches have to be pruned, and even dormancy is necessary for a bountiful harvest in the coming seasons. So it is with us – we’re staying grafted in, and these are our stories.
Thanks for visiting. Hope you are blessed.
